   Hey all, I've seen what it seems similar is a million jerry can threads in my searches on hither, but I did not see the reply to this question. I bought a harbor freight jerry can a few weeks ago. They seem to be made by Midwest Cans. Link hither: The tin is surprisingly proficient for the price (around $32 when paired with coupons), but the spout kind of sucks. Does anyone know of a solid metal / NATO option that is a direct fit to this style of can? Cheers in advance.

2. I am a big el cheapo Harbor Freight products fan, it's like toy shop for me and every month I spend pretty skillful amount of coin at that place. I looked those cans but like you stated because of the plastic lid I didn't want to buy. I almost got these Sears ones but once more was non able to make up one's mind it yet. I demand two and don't desire to spend coin on Wavians. Overall, I might cease upward getting Wavians though. So, I am following.

   If y'all can discover a solid cap for your can I DIY'd a spout later on looking at these. They work best on cans that have a separate vent hole.

   But yeah, I don't know of a direct replacement.

4. Do yourself a favor and buy the Waivians. If your El Cheapo gas can has a NATO style spout opening, then go to eBay and buy a NATO all metal spout, about $10 bucks.
   It is against the law to sell a gas can without the PIA newfangled spouts, but perfectly legal to sell separately the simple all metal NATO milsurp spout.
